Bot filtering
What is removed, why, and where to read the ledger.
Bot traffic is removed before it reaches any chart and doesn't count toward your plan. Nothing is deleted: every removed visit is kept with its reason, and the Bots removed page lists them.
| user_agent | The user agent names a crawler, script or HTTP library. |
| automation | The browser reported it is driven by automation (navigator.webdriver). |
| headless | Headless browser signals: no languages, a zero-size window. |
| referrer_spam | The referrer is a known referrer-spam domain. |
| rate | One visitor sent more hits a minute than a person can. |
| datacenter | The visit came from a cloud or hosting network. On by default; can be turned off in settings. |
| flood | Part of a burst of identical visits with no engagement: same country, device, landing page and source, many times the usual size. Checked every few minutes; can be turned off. |
Signups and identified users whose visits were all bots are listed separately, so a fake account doesn't look like a conversion.
